It was a tasty steak and well cooked Service was efficient Ambience was nice but a creaky squeaky door that kept banging as staff went through it every few minutes was irritating. They don't notice it as they hear it so often. Oil and a rubber stop is a simple cure The only other thing was the efficient but very 'cold Korean manager - 3 or 4 times she seemed to look at me and I met her gaze with a smile, expecting customer engagement, but she just looked through me every time. Cold and efficient. Pleasantness to paying customers costs nothing She was more interested in clipboards, order notes and payment processing. No interest in the effort of engagement

This is my second time visiting Secret Garden in Lapu-Lapu, and once again the food impressed me. The restaurant is small, but don’t let the size fool you. The taste and food quality are outstanding, far better than most places in the area. Yes, the prices are a bit higher compared to other local restaurants, but the flavor and freshness absolutely justify it. The quality is on another level. I’m from Portland, Oregon, and I can honestly say the food here is comparable to the excellent restaurants in downtown Portland. That says a lot. Secret Garden may be small, but the dishes are carefully prepared, flavorful, and consistent. If you care about high-quality food, this place is worth every peso. I highly recommend it.

Their staff were friendly and service was great and fast. We ordered beef bourguignon, pizza, kid’s meal (chicken fillet). The mashed potatoes were dry, but the beef itself was flavorful. The pizza is 6/10. Maybe next time, we’ll try their steak. We didn’t try it this time because we had steak at home.

We ditched Filipino food since it was way too salty. This dinner totally saved the night—every dish was amazing! The beef was super juicy, the clams were fresh, and the tiramisu was a real treat. The wine list wasn’t too exciting, but we went with the Chianti, though I wouldn’t rave about it. The restaurant’s small but has a cozy vibe.

I stayed on Mactan Island for 4 weeks, but every meal here from pasta to risotto was, in my mind, one of the best among Italian restaurants I've been to. All the flavors were classic and authentic. I want to go again if I have a chance.

We found this restaurant through Google Maps, it looked our type of place, so we tried it and were very pleased with all aspects. We had caprese for starters, I had penne arrabiata(myfave) and my hubby had ribeye steak. Everything was excellent.

Enjoyed the hazelnut coffee and a seafood rice dish (can’t recall the exact name). Everything was well-prepared and tasty. Their setting adds to the overall experience. Would recommend for a laid-back yet special meal.

From the name, I imagined there would be an actual “secret garden,” but instead it was a cozy little space with its own charm. We started with bruschetta, then had rib-eye steak, quattro formaggi pizza, and seafood pasta — every single dish was full of flavor and truly satisfying. It felt like a hidden gem, and the prices were pleasantly reasonable for such a delightful meal.
